Position Overview Venteck Limited, Inc. seeks a highly motivated and talented Interior Designer to join our team. This role requires a unique blend of creative design skills, technical expertise, and strong communication abilities. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for the design and execution of interior spaces for government facilities, from initial concept to project completion. You will play a key role in establishing Venteck Limited, Inc. as a leading design firm in the region. Responsibilities: Design and Project Management: Develop creative and functional design concepts for government facilities, including space planning, furniture layouts, and material selections. Prepare presentations and mood boards to communicate design ideas to clients effectively and stakeholders. Create detailed construction drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and other relevant software. Generate 3D renderings and visualizations to showcase design concepts. Oversee project execution, including vendor coordination, procurement, and installation. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Sales and Client Management: Accurately estimate project costs and prepare proposals. Effectively present design solutions and secure client approvals. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Utilize strong sales skills to contribute to business development efforts. Furniture and Material Selection: Provide expert advice on furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) selection. Source and procure high-quality materials that meet project requirements and budget constraints. Stay informed about current trends and innovations in interior design and FF&E. Understand government procurement. Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with contractors, suppliers, and project teams. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. Leverage bilingual skills (English/Spanish) to communicate with diverse clients effectively and partners. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field. Proven experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects. Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software. Expertise in 3D modeling and rendering. Strong understanding of space planning principles and building codes. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Fluency in English, French, and Spanish is required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. Strong utilization of technology and presentation tools. Demonstrable experience in sustainable projects and reducing costs while maximizing profits.
