Job Title: International Buyer - Latin America

Location: Pacific, Missouri (Onsite)

SUMMARY

Walker Products is seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) International Buyer to join our Purchasing team. This role will support procurement operations for both our growing UK operations and the expansion of Walker de Mexico. The ideal candidate will have experience in global supply chain management, be proficient in procurement systems, and possess the ability to manage international vendor relationships. This position requires onsite work at our Pacific, Missouri headquarters and offers the opportunity to work across multiple platforms, including EPICOR, Xero, and Unleashed.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage purchasing and inventory management functions for our UK and Mexico operations.
• Learn and operate Epicor (ERP), Xero (accounting software), and Unleashed (inventory management system).
• Conduct international market research to identify and evaluate global suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Issue and manage purchase orders for international suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with company standards.
• Forecast international inventory demand, aligning with operations in the UK and Mexico.
• Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to fulfill purchasing needs.
• Evaluate and monitor international supplier performance; implement corrective actions when needed.
• Stay current on global procurement trends, import/export regulations, and currency impacts.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support cross-functional teams to ensure procurement strategies align with global expansion goals.
• Assist in the development of procedures to standardize and streamline international purchasing processes.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, International Business, or related field preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).
• Experience in international procurement and logistics preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems; Epicor, Xero, and Unleashed experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work onsite at Walker Products in Pacific, MO.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Location: Onsite in Pacific, Missouri
• Travel: Minimal but may include occasional international vendor meetings or conferences.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard business hours,
• Environment: Office setting, collaborative with global exposure.
